โYou're just a ๐๐๐๐๐ of ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, @HealingAsgard; a cloud of ๐๐๐๐๐ that I keep ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐.โ โ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ซ ๐ถ๐ญ ๐ด๐ฐ๐บ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ฌ๐ญ
@HealingAsgard โ his fault, and though he didnโt believe that, he was still grateful that she tried, and after a moment, reached to pull her down into his lap rather than the computer, arms wrapped securely around her waist.
โBut as you said . . . later.โ
@HealingAsgard โItโs . . . a considerably smaller collection now, but you may look through them.โ Loki nodded somewhat, though his gaze remained on Eira still, a momentary silence settling between them. She was the only one whoโd taken the time to ensure him that Asgardโs destruction wasnโt โ
@HealingAsgard โ eyes skimming over the words, though he wasn't exactly reading them. He was listening to Eira speak instead, and once she'd /finished/, the god remained quiet for a moment before allowing for a small shrug of his shoulders, verdant hues moving up to Eira's own darker โ
@HealingAsgard โ a slow blink, before inhaling a breath in order to speak.
"Hello, Eira." Gaze then flickered to her device for a moment, eyebrow raising the slightest bit. "What have you found now?"
@HealingAsgard Though he could hear her moving through the room to settle on the arm of his chair, Loki's gaze never actually left his book, remaining on the pages for several more minutes before finally, he lifted it to the goddess settled beside him. He didn't offer a smile, however, simply โ

Hence his reminding himself of the fact that he'd /saved/ Asgard, rather than let it go up in flames with everyone โ
@HealingAsgard โ but that did not make it any less truthful.
"One would argue that I am /already/ useful, my darling Eira," Loki then spoke, palms pressed into the grass behind him to keep him up, though gaze remained on the brunette in his lap. "I /did/ help save Asgard, after all."
@HealingAsgard โ ultimately failed, and he was still paying for that now.
Though, it helped to know that he had Eira back, and occasionally, had Thor's attention back, too, when he was not too busy overseeing the construction of their new home. He would never /admit/ to such, of course, โ
@HealingAsgard โ was diverted. There was silence for a moment, too, before shoulders lifted for a shrug, Loki still picking at the paint on his nails, or what was left of it, at least.
"I would rather be in your company than anyone else's," he offered simply; quietly.
@HealingAsgard โ never fix the /many/ things that were wrong with him . . . but such did not stop Loki from trying.
He did, however, continue to choose to lie about such, and simply gave Eira a look at her remark, eyes narrowed for a brief moment, before his expression softened, and gaze โ
