We've been quiet this year because life has been pretty busy, but we're thankful for all of you anyway. Thanks for streaming us all around the world!

[MisfitShadows @MisfitShadowsNC]

Thank you for another great year

[MisfitShadows @MisfitShadowsNC]

It's likely to get quiet for a while after this due to some big life changes, but we have something before we go.

Our next single, Head Above Water (And Nothing Else) is coming July 19th

Correction, 3rd birthday since you left us. Too much time has passed and yet it still feels like yesterday

[MisfitShadows @MisfitShadowsNC]

Happy 25th birthday, Zack! Your second one since you left us. I hope you're smiling down on me, cause all I ever do is for you 🎶 💜

I don't know what yall were up to in February, but thank you very much for an unexpected 82 monthly listeners. I think that might be the most we've ever had. Could be wrong tho

But people insist we don't rock the system because they still wanna get paid their fraction of a cent without having to fight for it. Because it doesn't affect them. I'm not here for that main character syndrome bullshit. We all need to fight back against the unfair system.

[MisfitShadows @MisfitShadowsNC]

You know what, I've got something to say. I'm sick of getting told "it's not that much money so why do you care" or "just promote harder" when it comes to Spotify's announcement that they'll stop paying royalties to any track that gets less than 1000 streams a year (1/?)

[MisfitShadows @MisfitShadowsNC]

My target audience for some reason or another? Something that is completely out of my control? I say fuck that. Also, the low amount is part of the issue. I deserve to get paid and I deserve to get paid MORE than the fraction of a cent per stream. I'm not gonna just give in to it
