@PrcficientSage ~a quill and ink from the center of the table, Draco begins scribbling his ideas onto Hermione’s paper before sitting back to admire his work.
“What do you think, Granger?”
@PrcficientSage ~Harry Potter; his enemy from day one at Hogwarts. Or was, rather. Ever since he defeated The Dark Lord, Draco found himself halfway admiring him.
“I think I have something to contribute!” He adds excitedly. Taking~
@PrcficientSage ~Everyone knew just how smart Hermione Granger was; she was the only student excited to show up for lessons and the only student who willingly raised her hand to answer questions. In the past, he had teased her mercilessly for it. Now here he was,~
@PrcficientSage ~and he preferred it that way.
His Father and Mother had been disappointed because they believed he could achieve more, when he knew he could not. If he had only spoken up before The Dark Lord marked him, perhaps things would’ve ended differently for himself.
@PrcficientSage ~easy, but he found it the most rewarding. Each time he found himself in a predicament, he would speak what he knew and what he could do, then go from there. No one was disappointed in him since they had no expectations~
@PrcficientSage ~handle, Draco pulls it open and slips through, his eyes immediately scanning the tables and aisles for any sign of that bushy haired Gryffindor.
@PrcficientSage ~to help Granger in his dormitory.
The walk to the library was strange; almost as if he never had been there, although he could vaguely remember the smell of old books emitting from it.
Grasping the door~
@PrcficientSage ~him a spell or two.
With a quick nod of his head, Draco tucks his books back beneath his arm before quickly making his exit. He had skipped breakfast and nothing sounded better to him than lunch; maybe two or three lunches, if he could manage it.
@PrcficientSage ~whatever she was to that Weasley. That’s all Draco knew about her and that used to be more than enough; but now…now, they had to work together. It wouldn’t hurt for him to make an effort to learn more. Hell, she could teach~
@PrcficientSage ~He needed this class to graduate, he refused to home as a failure, yet again.
Draco’s parents didn’t blame him for his actions, he knew that; but he also knew innocent lives were taken because of his actions. The guilt would remain with him for the rest of his life.
@PrcficientSage ~Hermione’s gaze once he’s on his feet.
Draco was certain she would take lead for this project, given her history, but if McGonagall didn’t see any effort on his part, he was certain she would fail him.~
