More than 2,600 years ago, Maharishi Sushruta documented hundreds of surgical procedures and instruments, laying the foundation of reconstructive surgery and advancing medical science far beyond his era. Today, his statue stands at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a tribute to Bharat’s extraordinary contribution to medicine.

If you sit alone for 24 hours without any activity, and simply watch the nature of your mind, you will know how compulsive your psychological activity is. In such compulsive states, you cannot simply “be.” You can explore the full potential of being human only if you know how to be.

You can use Yoga to get rid of your backache or find peace of mind – or you can use it as a ladder to the Divine.
#SadhguruQuotes#InternationalDayofYoga
The International Day of Yoga is a reminder that what we call Yoga is not a philosophy, an ideology, a belief system or a religion. This is the science and technology for inner wellbeing. Whatever your religion, race, caste, creed, gender, these technologies render you to optimal existence - to peak performance in body, mind, emotion, intelligence and energies and above all, it will unlock the potential of the genius that is in every human being. -Sg
💥This is the story of a man responsible for accumulating 95% wealth of nations into the hands of 5% entrepreneurs.
The sound of hammers surrounded his childhood. Kirkcaldy had naileries.
Workshops where thousands of nails were produced by "untrained hands" of boys who had no clue of the next processes but gave unbelievable speed and efficiency to the few business owners.
This "untrained hands" concept became the theme of the western classroom format where it is NOW essential for human beings to turn out totally useless by the age of 23-24 so that the few entrepreneurs can hire these dim-somes for salaries and build Wealth.
This is Adam Smith's Capitalism - and the concept of division of labour.
The classrooms complete the task of human trafficking of "purposely kept untrained boys" to Companies.
The Companies continue this format of keeping humans dumb by making them sit on one desk which is only 5% of the entire department's task.
This results into Citizens only able to generate income, not Wealth. Only the few owners now know about the entire 100% of the processes.
🚨The biggest lie told about Hindu temples?
That they were only for worship.
Ancient Hindu temples ran Gurukuls, Goshālas, hospitals, kitchens, martial training, music, dance, water systems, local economies & cultural archives.
They were the backbone of Bharat. 🧵
A Hindu temple was not just a “prayer hall.”
It was a living civilizational institution.
Large temples, Mathas, Peethas & pilgrimage centers often functioned as the community operating system of the region.
Here is what temples did beyond worship:
🛕 1. Devalaya
Pūjā, yajña, abhiṣeka, utsava, vrata, prasāda & festivals.
📚 2. Gurukul
Veda, Vedāṅga, Sanskrit, grammar, logic, philosophy & śāstra learning.
🏫 3. Student support
Food, lodging, stipends & free education for students and teachers.
🎙️ 4. Śāstrārtha
Debates, Vedic recitation, Purāṇa-kathā & public discourses.
🎶 5. Music
Vocal music, nādasvaram, drums, bells, conch, bhajan & kīrtan.
💃 6. Dance & Natya
Temple dance, ritual performance, drama, storytelling & festival arts.
🎨 7. Art schools
Painting, sculpture, iconography, mural art, śilpa & temple architecture.
⚔️ 8. Martial training
Dhanurveda, wrestling, weapon training & regional martial traditions.
🐄 9. Goshāla
Cow protection, dairy, ghee, agriculture support & ritual needs.
🍛 10. Anna-dāna
Feeding pilgrims, students, devotees, poor people & travelers.
🏥 11. Hospitals
Ārogyaśālā, Ayurveda, doctors, nurses, medicine storage & maternity care.
🛏️ 12. Pilgrim housing
Dharmashālā, resting halls, water, shelter & food for travelers.
📜 13. Libraries
Palm-leaf manuscripts, Vedas, Purāṇas, śāstras & sacred records.
🪙 14. Treasury
Gold, silver, jewels, coins, land grants, donations & endowments.
🌾 15. Agriculture
Temple lands, cattle, irrigation, granaries, crops & storage systems.
💧 16. Water management
Temple tanks, wells, stepwells, canals & rainwater harvesting.
⚖️ 17. Community space
Village sabhās, public announcements, dispute resolution & local decisions.
🧑🏭 18. Employment
Priests, cooks, guards, sculptors, musicians, dancers, accountants & gardeners.
🛒 19. Trade & markets
Pilgrim markets, merchant networks, artisan guilds & festival commerce.
📅 20. Calendar keeping
Tithi, nakṣatra, eclipse timing, festival calendars & ritual astronomy.
🧘 21. Dharma guidance
Guru advice, saṁskāras, family rituals, spiritual counseling & community ethics.
🔥 In short:
Ancient Hindu temples were:
🔥Devalaya + Gurukul + Goshāla + Annakshetra + Hospital + Art Academy + Music School + Treasury + Grain Bank + Water Center + Community Court + Pilgrim Shelter + Economic Engine + Cultural Archive.🔥
They were not merely “places of worship.”
They were spiritual, educational, cultural, economic, ecological & social institutions that sustained Hindu civilization for centuries.
We were not just building temples.
We were building a civilization!

Took this photo while on the way from Somnath to Vadodara…
On the shores of Prabhas Patan, the Somnath Temple stands tall as a radiant symbol of devotion, history and civilisational spirit. It has outlasted barbaric attacks, invasions and the passage of centuries. It is eternal. Somnath gives every Indian strength, courage and hope.
Har Har Mahadev!
The number of people without electricity by country.
Look what happened after 2016. Someone started fixing India for real. Many things at a time. Still some way to go. The lag of last 60 is that bad.
Crazy to think about it,
most of the people attacking me
and defending the Islamic Republic
aren’t even from the Middle East.
The majority are
actually Europeans 😭
What the hell is going on
in Europe, guys?! 😂😂😂
You touch us, and we’ll make you regret it in ways you cannot imagine. Slowly. Everywhere. You still haven’t seen anything yet. We are the falcons of the Middle East. We banned the Muslim Brotherhood. We expelled the Islamic regime’s representatives. We are not Keir Starmer’s Britain, folding every time the Muslim Brotherhood in London barks louder. We are not Emmanuel Macron’s France, sipping coffee while negotiating with terrorists in Tehran.
And the UAE knows patience. For even the desert waits in silence before the storm rises. "As the eagle rises against the wind, so shall the steadfast rise through fire."
Every claim in your post collapses against the documented record.
On 24 January 1950, the Constituent Assembly you quote, presided by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, formally resolved that Vande Mataram shall have equal status with Jana Gana Mana. The Constitution you wave defeats you.
Tagore rejected it? He set Vande Mataram to music and sang it at the 1896 Calcutta Congress.
Bose rejected it? He made it the INA's war cry, broadcast it on Azad Hind Radio.
Muslims rejected it? Ashfaqullah Khan went to the gallows reciting it. Hasrat Mohani, who gave India 'Inquilab Zindabad', defended it. Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan led marches with it.
Bankim served the British? The British BANNED Vande Mataram, jailed singers, opened fire on processions chanting it.
You are not protecting Muslims. You are erasing the Muslims who helped build India.
💥If you come across IT companies which are deciding to completely close down, do connect me up. One zoom call & firing everyone is not Bhartiya culture.
Would like to guide as many companies' management i can for correct diversification to sail through this turmoil. Ask the management to ping on email id mentioned in the profile here.
I advise young entrepreneurs I meet, both men and women, to marry and have kids in their 20s and not keep postponing it.
I tell them they have to do their demographic duty to society and their own ancestors. I know these notions may sound quaint or old-fashioned but I am sure these ideas will resonate again.
Among the many noble deeds they are doing, the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust has focused greatly on animal welfare. Today, took part in the Gaudan Ceremony, in which farmers are being given cows. The cows in the pictures below are Gir Cows! May we all keep working for the welfare of our society, as shown by Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
