If Biden was this erratic and spirally in response to every question we’d have heard about it for 6 weeks and we’d better get that same energy for trump after whatever this is. I actually can’t parse these answers as narrative.
When you have health reasons to lose weight, it's expensive--more so for communities of color. Medicare Part D covering AOMs is the most cost-effective method to treat obesity, and reduce health disparities, @VP@JTaylorWrightSC@SenGaryPeters @RepSlotkin https://t.co/YDQMgIytUA
@jst1vaughn @SHDetroit@cavell4commish@wdet And to your point @jst1vaughn school boards tend to be a per meeting stipend (if anything) and there are some states where even state reps are entirely volunteer.
@jst1vaughn @SHDetroit@cavell4commish@wdet To be fair, if you're experiencing poverty, a $70K salary is life changing. But coming back from a deficit after campaigning full time, the time requirement of the job (after hours, weekends), supporting a family, paying student loans, etc. It's still a low salary.
@SHDetroit@cavell4commish@wdet Also the pay for most of these jobs isnt great. A campaign is can last for a year or more. What you're running for may require you to quit your job with no guarantee that you'll win. The role may not even have a salary despite the time commitment. 4/
@SHDetroit@cavell4commish@wdet Like Charlie said and even what happened with me despite my family background, we wait for someone to say "why not you?" We tap in when it seems like people would call it more "authentic." 3/
Truly gives me joy to hear a congressman use the title Mx. when introducing Marc. I'm not saying it's the first time a non-binary Black person has been recognized as a distinguished guest in a committee hearing but I am saying, happy Black history month @marcformarc
