Congratulations to Chelsea Shealy our BLPS Teacher of the Year! Chelsea teaches special education and has heart for all students. We are so proud to have Chelsea represent BLPS as the 2022 teacher of the year.
5th grade students at BLES holding Compliment and teach conferences with 3rd graders. Amazing conversations between these students! Great experience for all. @LexCounty_SD3
New experience tonight thanks to Covid. Watching Marshall in a play at Winthrop that is being live streamed instead having a live audience. Break a leg Marshall! 😁❤️ https://t.co/EsxlNtdFhF
So thankful for this sweet boy of mine and so proud of the young man he has become. Happy national sons day Marshall. We Love you much! https://t.co/zCjNmy9lo2
As the conversations about reopening are happening, pay attention to a very subtle distinction.
Are the conversations around how to make school happen or around how to make learning happen?
Because let's be clear: those aren't the same conversation.
Don’t ask school leaders and teachers if they are happy to “have time off”. No, we are not happy and our hearts ache for our students. We want to be at school. We want to see our kids. We want to meet their needs. We want our normal back. #COVIDー19#PrincipalLife#BetterTogether
