In a strange twist of fate, Dungeons and Dragons is now so popular that I can’t run sessions for all the students who want to play! Feels great that this fantastic hobby is finally picking up, but sad that I can’t run a hundreds sessions!

Media unit update- My S2s have decided that Some Like it Hot is ‘equally good’ as White Chicks. I didn’t expect the positivity, but as always my pupils have the capacity to appreciate more complex texts and they have loved finally seeing Marilyn moving and talking 😂❤️

Put together a new work outfit and got lots of compliments- one pupil said ‘Marilyn Monroe vibes’ ❤️ another said ‘you’re actually dressed as a teacher today’ 💔

Best of luck to all the teachers and pupils back in school today, especially those in secondaries staring down the barrel of exams that aren't exams but look and feel just like exams because they are exams even if the SNP and SQA want to pretend they're not exams.
