Cannot believe I have just finished the last day of my ITT placement! I have learnt so much, met so many amazing people and hopefully helped some children along the way. Can’t thank @ManchesterSCITT & both placement mentors enough❤️ it has been the best thing I have ever done 💫

Today was my last day with the fab EYFS at @WhitegateEnd 😭 I have loved every second learning from the best team there is and this class will always have a very special place in my heart ❤️ Teaching really is the most rewarding job ever

We’re going on a shape hunt …
We’ve been learning all things shapes in EYFS over the past couple of weeks so yesterday we went on a hunt to find 2D and 3D shapes in our environment.
The children found LOADS and were able to describe the shapes and their properties.

Back at @MayfieldOldham for our EYFS session. This week was Maths! We discussed what having good number sense looked like and explored how we can use different resources to represent number (& make jewellery). Can’t wait to implement these ideas in my maths lessons next week 📚

First term as a trainee teacher ✅ with @ManchesterSCITT can’t believe how far we’ve all come it has been hard at times but absolutely loved it. Looking forward to a big rest and refresh ready for Placement B in EYFS ✏️

Art training with @ManchesterSCITT loved learning about how important Art is in school and came away with lots of ideas to use from EYFS-Y6. I also found the shell drawing very therapeutic after a hectic 2 weeks🐚🎨
