While discussing Rainbow Day in Kindergarten this morning at @AscensionHcdsb, the students said “It’s rainbow day because we’re showing support to everybody’s differences and everybody is unique”. Beautiful words coming from SK students!! #PrideMonth 🌈

May 17 is International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. Today, and every day, we are committed to nurturing 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲, 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 schools so that the 2SLGBTQ+ members in our community feel a positive sense of belonging and well-being.

Students solved real world problems in under 2 minutes with their “date” using the Pythagorean theorem 👯‍♂️

@NaomiMelonators @MsTarbutt (1/2) After a few lessons on the Pythagorean Theorem, the students were instructed to find objects in their everyday life that represented a right triangle. They took photos of these items and created an Instagram profile with creative captions, likes, and an Instagram handle!
