Today I turned 28 YEARS OLD. Which means 12 YEARS AGO I was on Educating Yorkshire. Over the years, teachers have helped me to push forward in all things I doubted myself I could achieve. Teachers gave me more than an education - they gave me a future. I will forever be grateful.

The lead up to Christmas means one thing - Christmas treats! This week we started by creating instructions to make gingerbread men using Pie Corbett Talk for Writing. Followed by following a recipe and decorating them. I think it’s safe to say we all enjoyed eating them today!🎄
In our most recent SLT Day, we talked about and engaged in activities based on collaboration. Such an interesting session that we could all interact with!👩🏼💻👩🏼🏫
Remembrance Week❤️
On Thursday we walked to the local cenotaph, where the children honoured those who sadly passed away by laying their poppy pebbles down🥀🖤 #RememberanceDay
Yesterday we looked at how we can be kind to one another and what makes a good friend. Our learners came up with such lovely ideas🩷🩵💜 #AntiBullyingWeek#BeKindAlways
This morning, in honour of Black History Month, Year 1 looked at what makes us all different in our own way and the importance of treating everyone the same - even if they are different from you. #BlackHistoryMonth#Diversity#Equality
