I keep noticing a lot of accounts I thought I followed are now unfollowed.
It's been a while since I was consistent here but that seems weird to me.
I'm sure some of it has to do with The Great Purge a couple months ago but it seems like a high number
half the fun of cat ownership is the random scavenger hunts, like, where is my small friend sleeping today? are you in the laundry basket? are you under the bed? have you curled up behind the shelf or on top of a cupboard or crept into a shopping bag? have you discovered a secret portal to another dimension and gone to have adventures with a tiny mechanical dragon? where are you, cat??
hot girl summer is canceled this year. we are having feral girl summer instead. we’re purring in the sun with our bellies full, walking barefoot in nature, lounging and sleeping for sixteen hours then hunting at dusk, biting into fruit so ripe it runs down our wrists like blood. we’re climbing something high just to sit up there and look down at everything, stretching in feline pandiculation until the spine cracks, and listening to our primal instincts unapologetically.
all with the simple goal of feeding our endless appetite for the sweetest things the world has to offer. there are many benefits to being an apex predator at the peak of her strength.
PSA to any woman, or anyone inexperienced, thinking about getting into sex work
Be extremely skeptical of anyone whose entire brand is built around flashing stacks of cash, luxury gifts, designer bags, and a supposedly effortless lifestyle while promising they’ll teach you the game.
The lifestyle is the advertisement. You are the customer.
The second someone starts selling courses on how to swerve, trick, or secure the bag, ask yourself why they’re making more money selling access to you than they are from the lifestyle they’re trying to convince you is so lucrative.
The most dangerous people aren’t always the ones who openly call themselves pimps. Sometimes they’re the ones who wrap exploitation in the language of female empowerment, mentorship, and community.
If someone’s business model depends on constantly recruiting inexperienced women into their orbit, that’s a glaring red flag. If they’re promising wealth while minimizing the risks, they’re selling a fantasy, not education.
The people worth listening to are the ones who tell you about boundaries, safety, financial planning, coercion, violence, burnout, taxes, and how to leave the industry if you choose, not just how to buy your next Chanel bag.
A mentor wants you to become independent. A recruiter wants you to become profitable. Learn the difference before you mistake one for the other.
"You become good at what you practice"
You become negative if you practice negative thinking
You become kind when you practice kindness.
Your actions become your character.
To fall asleep, you first pretend to be asleep. Life works the same way. You become by practicing. You grow by acting. Confidence comes after the first step. The version of you that you're becoming begins as something you choose to embody before it feels real.
