Just had a debate with a grocery store manager and it is a prime example of why some people should not be in leadership roles..

Cashier: "May I see your ID?"
Me: Shows my military ID
Cashier: "I need your Drivers License for your birthdate"
Me: Points to Date of Birth
Cashier: "Let me get my manager"
Manager: "Let me go to the office to check our policy..."
5 minutes later:
Manager: "We can only accept Drivers Licenses, Passports, and Government issued ID cards"
Me: "This is a military ID..."
Manager: "We can't accept those, only government issued ID's"
Me:.....points to the bottom where is says "PROPERTY OF US GOVERNMENT, "What does that say?"
Manager: "Yeah, but dat's military not goverment..."
Me: Losing my will to live and about to make a scene
Manager: "I'll allow it this one time..."
