It’s simply the term for any doctor who is not yet a consultant or experienced GP

@MartinSLewis @bbc5live Air frier, turn down temps on the boiler, during the day turn everything (not sockets) off on the fuse box, go around turning sockets off (we just leave our fridge&freezer on). Thick socks, cardigans/jumpers/hoodies. If using the oven, after use leave the oven door slightly open.
