First day of transition with my first full time class… Wrote June on the board, it rained so couldn’t do the afternoon activity and several children had mouldy tubs in their draws from previous weeks fruit break🙈 send help.
In what world is it acceptable to debate whether children eat or not? How is that even an option? Where is our governments compassion? Who is going to invest in our children and their futures if the ‘care takers’ of our country will not? Why are people not seeing this?
Absolutely disgusted that our local mp thinks that the problem of child poverty shouldn’t be nationalised and that people should ‘take responsibility’. God forbid he ever finds himself in a dark place with no help and his children suffer as an unfortunate consequence.
Was greeted by the news that I have to isolate when I arrived at school this morning😭 I’m absolutely devastated and have no idea what I’m going to do with myself for all of this time😬 Netflix recommendations?
@missleadbetter_ I used the ‘knock on the door’ it’s very simple, the children remember it or can be prompted with a simple gesture when unsure. If you don’t have enough... knock on the door to the ‘neighbour’ and borrow one from their column ☺️ actually knocking on the table works a treat!!
A NQT position in September becoming more increasingly unlikely, I’m now looking into supply and applying to agencies... Does anyone have any must ask questions when discussing this? ALSO: what on earth do I write on a teacher CV?😩 #nqt#edutwitter#teachertwitter
