@LearningMaths Equivalent but don’t represent the same thing? Fraction is positional but the division I see as 3 wholes divided into 7 equal parts. Might look like a number line but the division is the whole representation not a position on it. Would love to know how others see it!

@CheerVix @KatieMc05176779@mathsjem@JoLocke1@StudyMaths@mdawesmdawes I like teacher initials. E.g. 11ECL. Students can only tell that I’m their teacher and they’re on the east side. I know their ‘ability’ but it doesn’t need broadcasting. This is particularly useful for our MA groups. Parents can wrongly assume 7E5 is bottom set etc.
