Today the children were playing ‘coronavirus’ 🦠

It’s basically ‘stuck in the mud’ but when you tag someone you have to shout ‘isolate’ and you free someone by tapping them while shouting ‘vaccinate’ 😂

Teaching outside when it’s cold.

Here’s a few tips over the years ⛄️

1. Organise as much as you can inside (bibs, teams, warm up activities)
2. GET them MOVING asap. Fun short games or races.
3. Remind students of positive lessons and REINFORCE it with lots of praise

Went into EYFS this morning to be handed a picture (scribble) of me drawn by a nursery child with the teacher annotation ‘this is Miss Baxter with a big smile and white teeth’ safe to say it melted my heart. Especially when I’ve only ever spoken to the child who drew it twice😩😍
