We had a great class party today! We earned our party by getting class tiger tickets for following the 7 habits! We finished reading the book Matilda, so of course we had to build a fort, have some snacks, and watch the movie! #TigersTogether#GrowGreatLeaders#GilbertPride
The 3rd grade Student Leadership Team organized a litter clean up around our Gilbert Schools. We synergized to help clean up for Earth Day. #TigersTogether#GrowGreatLeaders
Yesterday we had our first class celebration! Our class synergized to earn class tiger tickets. They chose to have a tech party this time. #GilbertPride

7 WAYS ATHLETES CAN SHOW THAT THEY ARE COACHABLE ...
1️⃣ Attitude of gratitude
2️⃣ Good body language
3️⃣ Respectful eye contact
4️⃣ Do things without being asked
5️⃣ Do what you're supposed to do
6️⃣ Listen when someone is speaking
7️⃣ Ask questions that benefit the team
Jerry Rice said, "I think my secret is that there's no shortcuts for hard work, determination, and having that don't give up attitude."
He knew there was no such thing as an overnight sensation.
Success is doing the work.
His greatest ability wasn't his speed, it was his mindset, work ethic, and hands.
Here are the 6 principles that made Jerry Rice the best WR of all-time:
1. Put in the work every day
Jerry Rice took 2 weeks off after the season and that was it! He started getting back into his 2x days running and lifting every day from 7am-1pm.
To build longevity and success, you need to put in the work regardless of what other people are doing.
2. Be intentional
Jerry Rice said, "Little things, big victories." He wasn't the fastest, but he practiced everything he did down to the last detail.
• Run precise patterns
• Practice evading defenders
• Lift to outmuscle others
• Jump to win jump balls
You have to spend time being intentional and practicing what matters.
3. Strive for perfection, accept excellence
Jerry Rice wanted to be perfect every game. He might have had 200 yards, but he was upset about a missed block or an imprecise route. He always told himself, “You can’t be complacent.”
Have a growth mindset because your mindset keeps you motivated to grow, learn, and be better.
4. Hustle Never Stops
In team workouts, Jerry Rice was famous for his hustle. • He would sprint to the end zone after each reception while others walked
• He would practice long after the team had gone home
Who do you think was still running fresh at the end of the game? Your hustle can be your differentiator if you prepare.
5. Fear of failure can be your engine
• He was afraid of letting his dad down.
• He was afraid of letting his team down.
• He was afraid of letting himself down.
He always said, "Work ethic and always giving 100 percent. I didn't want to look back and regret not giving everything."
When you show up and do the work, you feel confident and not afraid because you know in your heart that you gave everything you had.
6. Excellence is in doing, trying, and discipline
3 weeks after winning the SB in 1995, he was seen running sprints and catching passes from the groundskeeper.
Jerry Rice in an interview said, “I had to be great. The only way I knew how to do anything was to outwork, outperform, and outplay everyone else”
Summary
1. Put in the work every day
2. Be intentional
3. Strive for perfection, accept excellence
4. Hustle Never Stops
5. Fear of failure can be your engine
6. Excellence is in doing, trying, and discipline
I love his example because he was the greatest and his most distinct skills were his work ethic, mindset, and attitude.
