Happy Earth Day! π³π±πβοΈ Today, we learned about how native plant species in NJ are endangered, and made seed spheres as one way to help enrich the soil and help more plants grow!
Getting our hands dirty for our March Wonder Wednesday! Our NJ regions activities were so much fun. In our station, we read about the Ridge & Valley region, then planned and produced an animal habitat for a native species of the region whose home has been damaged by humans π’π±π§
For this monthβs Wonder Wednesday, Woodbrookβs fourth graders collaborated in small groups and followed the engineering by design process to create a roller coaster that has enough kinetic energy to keep a marble rolling from start to finish! π’ #WeAreOneEdison
A half day FULL of excitement! Fourth grade reigns as the door decorating champs π and we had a surprise visit from a very special elf on the shelf during todayβs sing-a-long! π πΌ
From the gingerbread houses gallery walk and holiday band gram, to STEM activities and our class party, it was a wonderful week of winter fun at Woodbrook! βοΈ
Our first Wonder Wednesday was a success! We collaborated with the Community Advocacy Club, parent volunteers, and other classes to investigate ways to reduce food waste. The applesauce we made was the result of leftover apples from school breakfast & lunch! ππ
