Today 300,000 teachers in England are on strike because education is in crisis.

Teachers work more unpaid overtime than any other profession.

@GillianKeegan must come to the table and #SaveOurSchools

@lamb_heart_tea Amazing, could you email me a copy of this? [email protected]

[Miss Burford @MissBurfordF]

@MrMHistorian I feel very much in the same position. Not sure I can offer any advice really, but I also find this term an issue for books/assessments!

[Miss Burford @MissBurfordF]

@MISSNTEACHING Omg the chat with the cleaner is 100% me!!!

[Miss Burford @MissBurfordF]

@MISSNTEACHING I personally feel more productive in the morning so arrive at 7am and find 30 mins then is worth an hour after school.

@missapearl_ Make sure they have decided before they plan the lesson what they are intending to use as criteria for 'significance' I would read the HA 'what's the wisdom on significance' it has some great tips that could easily lead to a good activity

[Miss Burford @MissBurfordF]

@KatyMontgomerie Katy I am so sorry this has happened to you. People who respond to others in this way are often miserable themselves. No excuse for this behaviour but recognise this problem is his and his alone. Sending you love

[Ashley Booth @MrBoothY6]

What in the live laugh love is this nonsense the previous owners have left in my bedroom

Couldn’t share the news with you before, but Princess Sophia Duleep Singh will finally get the recognition she deserves. Six new blue plaques have been granted for 2023. The Princess, suffragette and revolutionary will have her plaque on her grace and favour home at Hampton Court

[Evie Breese @EvieBreese]

Boys will be boys

[Suzannah Lipscomb @sixteenthCgirl]

To the young woman who gave me a chocolate and nut bar so she could interrupt the man talking endlessly at me on the late night train, I thank you for your kindness and solidarity.

One thing’s for sure, you’re all about to witness the most grammatically correct placards this country’s ever seen. #TeacherStrike

Government raises the pension age to 68 about 10 years before the current schedule.

I can barely make July most years, let alone 68.
