To wrap up Financial Literacy, students in class 3-2 did a Creative Classroom Shop!
Each student had a budget of $61 to shop for craft supplies, plan what they would make and then construct a creation of their choosing!

👚 In case you forget why we wear pink.
It’s for the kid who sat alone.
For the kid who got picked last.
For the kid who hid their tears.
For the kid who questioned where they belonged.
Pink Shirt Day is about more than wearing a colour—it’s about taking action, raising your voice, and fostering spaces where everyone feels included and valued.

What started in 2007 with 2 students taking a stand against bullying has grown into a national movement for kindness. Together, we can create spaces where everyone feels safe, included & valued.
Wear pink, speak up, & spread kindness! 🩷☺️

The Gr. 3's had a fabulous day of learning at Crawford Lake!
Students engaged in lots of inquiry & hands on learning, from exploring artifacts in the Longhouse, playing a First Nations game called Snow Snakes, Indigenous ways of life & making Longhouse or Crawford Lake prints.
Our Terry Fox run is next week & we collecting “Toonies for Terry" in the office. Last year together we raised 650.00!
Families can also donate through School Cash Online. Thank you for your support with this worthwhile cause.
