“We are with the students”. Us students are actually well aware you aren’t and haven’t been for as long as you’ve been in government. I wrote my sentiments to the minister of education @Sflecce and I urge everyone to do the same. #Onted#OnPoli#IStandWithCUPE#ontedsolidarity
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if CUPE workers are essential to keeping schools open and kids in class…then they are also essential enough to receive a decent wage. I urge you: Support CUPE workers…and stand against starvation wages everywhere. #IStandWithCUPE

It needs to be said:
As this week comes to an end, 🙏 thank you 🙏 thank you 🙏 thank you 🙏 to all education workers. Whether online or in-school (yes there are many workers in our schools right now) I know this has been a difficult & stressful time. You are valued. #onted
Ford praised the Minister of Ed and his team for the remarkable job they’ve done with on-line learning.
Let me be clear Doug... teachers, education workers, and parents have made on-line learning work! They have spent months cleaning up the mess and the chaos of your Minister!
Hey @CP24,
Just to correct @Sflecce.
Educators called for a safe re-opening of schools fr day 1.
Educators have consistently called for Lecce and Ford to make schools safer.
Educators want safe workplaces but when Lecce/Ford refuse to do this, the only safe option is virtual.
It's not okay that I don't know if I'll be back in school on Tuesday. It takes time to set up a classroom, it takes time to pack it up. Education workers, parents and students deserve better. #OnPoli#OntEd
Imagine paying a Minister of Education $165,430 dollars a year for them to stand in front of a podium to vilify educators and lie to parents, students and staff all day.
Well you don't have to imagine it. It's happening.
