MathLiteracy activity. Basket of “miscellaneous” objects and “sorting rings”.
JKs decided their sorting rule was colours.
SKs also decided their sorting rule was colours.
That time when sorting rings evolved into a Venn diagram naturally and meaningful #mathchat happens.

Self correction during numeracy! This independent student decided to practice his numbers. After reading the numbers aloud, he recognized that he made a backwards 5 in 25. He self corrected and was so happy! #EYvolunteering @EY_uwindsor

We are building structures using foam blocks and shaving cream! Incredible idea by these EY Educators. The male student recognized that there needed to be a thick enough layer of shaving cream for the foam blocks to remain secured! Such good thinking. @EY_uwindsor #EYvolunteering
