Actor Tim Allen shared about Erika Kirk's public forgiveness of the man accused of killing her husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, inspired him to finally forgive the drunk driver who killed his own father over 60 years ago.

Allen wrote that hearing Erika Kirk say, "That man… that young man… I forgive him," deeply affected him. He added:

"I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad. I will say those words now as I type: 'I forgive the man who killed my father.' Peace be with you all."

Accountability still needs to happen. Yet Erika showed how powerful forgiveness can be. Truly inspiring.

On the inside: groups of five and six already moving through the halls. Doors opening from within. Men on the interior steps waving people forward. “Come on.”

Lara asked the only question that still matters.

They have sat on it for years.

Okay.

When you mention your age, do you ever stop and think about what that age is supposed to represent?

You're not a teenager anymore.

You're not 21 and figuring out how the world works.

You're 50.

60.

61.

62.

At some point, AGE is supposed to come with WISDOM.

Have you taken the time to understand how your government actually works?

What the President controls?

What Congress controls?

What the House can do?

What the Senate can do?

How many votes legislation requires?

What the courts can stop?

What individual members of Congress can and CANNOT accomplish?

Or do you just look around, get angry that everything you wanted hasn't happened fast enough and decide:

"SCREW IT. I'M STAYING HOME."

And then announce it publicly like you've just revealed some profound political strategy.

Have you ever stopped and thought:

"Maybe this post is dumb?"

Seriously.

Because when you're 60, 70 or 80 years old, you carry another responsibility.

There are younger Americans watching you.

Your children.

Your grandchildren.

People in your church.

People in your community.

People who haven't lived through what you've lived through.

YOU are supposed to be transferring knowledge to THEM.

You're supposed to be able to explain what worked.

What failed.

What mistakes your generation made.

How government actually functions.

How political power is gained.

How political power is lost.

And how younger generations can make BETTER decisions than your generation did.

Instead, some of you are basically saying:

"I've been participating in this system for 40 or 50 years. I didn't get everything I wanted, so now I'm taking my ball and going home."

WHAT? 😂

You're allowed to be angry.

You're allowed to be disappointed.

You're allowed to criticize Congress.

You're allowed to criticize Republicans.

You're allowed to demand MORE from the people you elected.

In fact, YOU SHOULD.

But frustration is not a substitute for understanding how the system works.

If you're going to announce your age as evidence that you've seen enough to know better...

THEN KNOW BETTER.

You're 50, 60, 70 or 80 years old.

You've lived through Presidents.

Recessions.

Wars.

Inflation.

Political scandals.

Booms.

Crashes.

Republican governments.

Democratic governments.

Decades of American history.

That experience should produce WISDOM.

And wisdom should be passed DOWN.

Not wasted.

The younger generation already has TikTok, algorithms, influencers, propaganda, AI-generated garbage and 30-second clips trying to teach them how the world works.

They need grandparents and parents who actually understand the system.

So before posting:

"I'M SITTING THIS ONE OUT."

Maybe sit down first.

Think.

Read.

Understand the consequences of participating AND not participating.

Then make your decision.

You're the elder generation.

America… today I finally understood something about Trump’s team that I had been missing this entire time. And once I tell you what it is… I think you will feel exactly what I felt. Who could have given up a thousand times. And never did. Pete Hegseth. A Princeton graduate who walked away from every comfortable career waiting for him. And chose the harder road. Every single time. JD Vance. A boy from Appalachian poverty. Raised by a grandmother. Who had every reason to believe his beginning was his ending. And refused to accept it. Karoline Leavitt. A girl with a softball scholarship and no political family. Who walked into the Trump White House as an intern. And never once looked back. Susie Wiles. A woman who spent 40 years working in the shadows of American politics. While nobody said her name. While nobody gave her credit. While the whole world looked the other way. Five people. Five completely different lives. Five completely different starting points. And then I saw it. The one thing they all share. The one thing Trump saw in all of them before the whole world did. Not one of them ever quit. Not Marco when his family had nothing. Not Pete when comfort was right there waiting. Not JD when everything around him was falling apart. Not Karoline when the doors were not opening fast enough.
Not Susie when 40 years passed and nobody knew her name. They just kept going. Every single one of them. Through every hard moment. Through every reason to stop. Through everything that would have made most people walk away. And here is what broke me completely today. Trump did not choose these people because they were the most famous. He did not choose them because they were the most connected. He chose them because they were exactly like him. A man who fell. Who lost. Who was written off. Who was told it was over. And got back up every single time.

Canadian healthcare used to be good, it is now in desperate fear of collapse. They're bringing in doctors who did not study in Canada and whatever else that entails.

I find the healthcare in the US unquestionably superior. Health insurance is the same since I don't pay income tax in Florida, I pay it on insurance. There is immediate, private healthcare if you need it.
Medically assisted suicide is not an option they offer.
