Getting into the Halloween spirit with some Halloween STEAM! Our goal was to create a catapult that will launch a candy pumpkin as far as possible! We worked in teams to problem solve with our designs! @OJRSDEC@Ojrscience
Day 3 of “Start with Hello” - Thank a Trusted Adult Day & dress like your favorite teacher ❤️ We wrote letters to show our EC staff how much they mean to us. Never underestimate the impact you may have on someone’s life✨ @OJRSDEC

These 4th graders had a blast with the opportunity to test out some robot stations during EC Loves Robots Week!🤖❤️ We were able to use some of our previous coding skills & become excellent problem solvers. Proud of them! @OJRSDEC@Ojrscience
With Halloween night creeping upon us, these Fourth Grade Witch Teams were given the task of creating a bubbling Witch’s Brew using the fewest ingredients possible! However, our ingredients weren’t too appetizing, so we had some experimenting to do! @OJRSDEC@Ojrscience
Our fourth graders practiced rehearsing our favorite picture books to read fluently with expression to our kindergarten buddy class outside on this beautiful Friday! We also spent time making kindness cards for our new buddies to welcome them to EC!❤️ @OJRSDEC
Ended our week by filling one another’s buckets with overflowing kindness💛. Can’t wait to read our kindness notes Monday morning to start our week off feeling loved & appreciated💛 #ECstrong@OJRSDEC
Powerful moment! Discussed the power of words & how we get to choose how we use them. We had a common theme of remembering words said to us & decided to trash our unkind memories of the past & start fresh by being a bucket filler for someone today! 💛
Our class had a “superhero” themed day. We came to the conclusion that this year, we were all each other’s superheroes. Here are a few examples of a Jamboard we made to let each classmate know what their power was in our classroom. We have the power to make each day positive! ❤️
Kicked off our 10-Day-Countdown to the end of third grade today with “Tropical Thursday”! After accomplishing a whole year of cyber learning, these third graders are ready for a summer vacation! ☀️🌊
