Staff training at the local museum to share opportunities for future visits. Found out that my new school is based in a town where buns are thrown from a tower during any royal celebration. You learn something new every day!

It’s half term! Survived my first stint at my new school and looking forward to recharging before the mad lead up to festivities!

Did I stop early to savour a sliver of Sunday evening well-being? Yes, I’ve decided that takes priority for the week ahead.

Feeling hopeful at the end of August, I booked a ticket (alone) to a @Waterstones event…on a school night! Today, I managed the full day teaching my class and spent a wonderful evening listening to @LibbyPageWrites and @SallyPageBooks. Do things out of your comfort zone, people!
