Did you know the daughter of a former U.S. Muslim Brotherhood leader is operating on your soil and collecting school voucher dollars for her Islamic schools?

Magda Elkadi Saleh sits at the center of Tampa’s Islamic school network. She has founded and led institutions including the American Youth Academy (the rebranded continuation of the Islamic Academy of Florida), Universal Academy of Florida, and Bayaan Academy.

These schools now participate in Florida’s school-choice voucher programs - routing public education dollars into the first stage of a parallel Islamic infrastructure.

Her father, Ahmed Elkadi, was the national leader (Mas’ul) of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood from 1984 to 1994.

He was instrumental in building the movement’s American infrastructure, co-founding the Muslim American Society, and holding leadership positions including President of the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), which holds title to hundreds of mosques and Islamic properties nationwide as waqf.

Her maternal grandfather, Mahmoud Abu-Saud, worked closely with Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna in Egypt and later settled in Florida.

Saleh has also served in leadership roles with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and works with CAIR-Florida - the same organization Governor DeSantis designated (along with the Brotherhood) under state law citing Holy Land Foundation records.

While Florida has labeled the Brotherhood and CAIR as terrorist-linked entities, her network continues to expand with public legitimacy and public dollars: schools shaping the next generation, professional associations building internal referral systems, and a documented institutional footprint in Tampa.

This is not a secret, I went to Congress and exposed this - but it seems no one in your state cares!?

Tampa local leaders even honored her! You can not make this up!

This is the multigenerational Brotherhood-linked infrastructure operating in plain sight in a red state, funded in part by Florida taxpayers.

Residents in Pinellas already showed up against a single mosque expansion.

The question is when Florida will investigate the operator whose family built the larger system.

ISLAMIZATION OF FLORIDA IS ADVANCING - AND THIS WEEK PROVED IT

In Gainesville, Alachua County sheriff’s deputies and the FBI arrested 15-year-old Jude Sleeper, a Buchholz High School student, after investigators say they found him communicating on social media with members and supporters of ISIS about how to build drones and explosives to attack people in an indoor location.

Deputies say his phone contained bomb-making instructions, chemical compound files, and ISIS propaganda. Two jars of chemicals he identified as used to make TATP - a highly unstable explosive - were found in his bedroom. He was charged with making or attempting to make a destructive device. The investigation is ongoing...

Meanwhile, in Pinellas County, the commission narrowly approved the expansion of Masjid Al-Rahman at 2577 Keystone Road while describing it only as a “community assembly facility.” Residents packed the hearing and said hell no. A burqa-clad woman blasted the adhan until she was escorted out. It still passed 4-3.

And the deeper infrastructure sits in Tampa. Magda Elkadi Saleh - daughter of Ahmed Elkadi, identified by investigators and journalists as a senior U.S. Muslim Brotherhood figure - has held leadership roles at American Youth Academy (the rebranded continuation of the Islamic Academy of Florida founded by Sami Al-Arian), Bayaan Academy, and Universal Academy of Florida, while also tied to ISNA networks.

CAIR-Florida has long operated from the Tampa area; Governor DeSantis designated both CAIR and the Brotherhood under state law citing Holy Land Foundation records in which CAIR was listed as part of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee infrastructure.

One week. A high school student allegedly talking to ISIS about building bombs. A county greenlighting a mosque expansion under euphemisms. A documented institutional network with Magda Elkadi Saleh at its center operating in Tampa.

Red-state Florida keeps treating these as separate zoning or isolated cases. Residents in Pinellas already showed up. The question is when the rest of the state will stop ignoring the advancing threat.

Look at Clearwater. Fifty years ago a "religion" came to town and quietly consolidated property and power. Nobody knew what hit them until it was too late. Why wasn’t every legal hurdle placed in front of this project? What happens in New York eventually happens in Florida. It’s only a matter of time.

To the commissioners: give us equal treatment and re-examine this with real community input. To my fellow Tarponites: take one look at New York City. Take a look at downtown Clearwater. Is that what we want for our town? Don’t let your guard down. Fight this like the life of our town depends on it. Because it does.”
