In our Stay and Play session today, all the children enjoyed having a story read to them by their grown up from home to mark @WorldBookDayUK. We talked about the importance reading stories and shared the 50 recommended reads. @booksfortopics.

A great end to the half term talking about Children's Mental Health Week and what 'Belonging' means to us. We also had an amazing lion dance performance to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Starting the week telling the story of the 'Great Race' to begin our learning about Chinese New Year. A snapshot of a few activities leading up to a big celebration on Friday. Looking forward to more discussions about how the festival is celebrated as the week goes on.
