Had my first @turo experience. Initial handoff was great and so was the car. The return got confusing, and I sat in a red zone for 10 minutes with hazard lights on while I messaged, texted, and called the owner. $172 total (rental, gas, etc) for 13 drives.

Riding via @Turo this week. Lots of meetings so I booked for five days. The @Nissan Versa Note is adorable. Spending 90 minutes in stop and go traffic...not so much. Oh yeah. This is why I don’t wanna drive!

One of the many reasons I decided to go #carfree. I don’t want a loan, I don’t want the risk of a lease, and buying a used car with cash seems like buying trouble. Oh yeah. And I hate to drive...I’ll support local businesses instead. @lyft @uber #rideshare

Tonight my @Lyft Shared was only 40 minutes to get home. So that wasn’t too bad. 10 minutes to save $4, and I don’t mind #lyftpooling through the busy commute.

#Lyft #shared Trying to decide if saving $6 is worth the extra time to get home. Had to cancel my #ubereats after being routed the long way home. That said, I got my own car this morning so it kind of evens out.

I found #comfortableflats at a reasonable price. @anneklein sport flats are highly rated for comfort and you can pick them up for under $50 @dsw_us. I’ve worn them on a couple of #commutewalks and they don’t hurt my feet.

@Getaround for 2 days cost $60, plus $12 premium fuel and $6 for parking. $78 for 8 trips is very cost effective. The 2013 #smartfortwo was super fun to drive but driving in the #commute is still driving in the #commute. Still...love being able to walk 10 minutes to #carshare.
