Exactly!!! Like Brené Brown says “dare greatly”! Try your ideas, create, dream, give it a go! We encourage the children to dare and dream and so we should too! Teachers are so creative and have many different personalities, we should be able to let them shine!
This Sunday evening try changing the narrative-
- worried about the week?- what about thinking about how many children’s lives you will touch, how many staff you will support?
- worried about staff absence- think instead about how your amazing team will pull together x ❤️❤️
The difference when you provide a range of open-ended resources rather than a ‘task’. This pupil placed the peg dolls in the ten frame (one per sq) but then found their ‘sister’. She was counting, sorting and grouping them whilst telling a narrative from her imagination.
