Today in DT we made vegetarian pizza wraps. We learnt new skills - what a vegetarian is, what ingredients we needed to use and the correct equipment to make our pizzas. Penguin class loved making these. They tasted really good too🍕😁

Yesterday we explored the different animal classes. We each went off and became an expert on a class and then shared this information with others🐻🪰🐍🦩

In topic we are learning about money, where it comes from and where it goes. Penguin class learnt how to buy items with their money and receive change. Some of us had to work out the difference between the cost of their item and how much money they were giving the shop keeper 💷

This afternoon, we had Beach Safety come in to talk to us. We learnt how to stay safe on the beach and who to call if we are ever in danger. We also learnt how to use a throw line to help someone who is at risk🌊

Today in English we discussed how to save electricity which will help our planet🌎 We walked around school to see if we could see plugs that were turned on but not in use. Penguin class said that we could turn off the switch to save the world. They really enjoyed this activity😁

In Science, we looked at the human body parts. Penguin class were really good at collaborating together and labelling the parts👂🏼🖐🏼

Yesterday Penguin class looked at mass. We went outside and weighed different objects to find out their mass. We loved this outdoor activity⚖️😁

In Computers we decided to take some pretty pictures of the flowers and plants around school. We then edited them to look better! Penguin class did such a good job of making their pictures look professional📸😁
