Day 58: and there it is, my first full term of teaching has come to an end & what an incredible time I’ve had! It’s been amazing being back in with the kids & celebrating Christmas together. This really is the best job! 🤩 To top it off, the head sent me this from a parent today!

Day 54: starting to get into a groove with Teams and now the isolation period has changed, it turns out we’re back in school on Monday! Excited to be able to see the kiddos properly before Christmas! #NQT

Day 52: lowering my expectations has definitely helped. today was the first teams day where I didn’t cry to myself - success! #NQT

Day 51: definitely realised today that I need to lower my expectations with online teaching. Nothing goes to plan and it’s chaos. MS Teams just wasn’t made for teaching 30 children. Tomorrow will be better 🤞 #NQT

Day 50: first day of remote teaching and I genuinely cannot believe I have another 2 weeks of this. Just wanna be in school celebrating Christmas together in class! The day we had to isolate was our putting the tree up and decorating the class day. Devastated. #NQT

Day 49: Unfortunately, my class and I are having to self isolate for 2 weeks 😖 any tips for remote teaching using teams? Slight nervous wreck here... #NQT

Day 48: today was our theme planning day and we’re doing Ancient Greece after Christmas - I’m so excited for our Year 3 Olympic Games! #NQT
