Thanks to @microbit_edu and the Scottish Government, our school was gifted with a set of micro:bits. Our P7 coders were introduced to them today and learned to code messages, pictures and sounds 🤩

Our P7 coders have really impressed us with how independent and creative they have become in just a few sessions. Dance parties and problem solving obstacle courses today! More photos and videos in comments.

We were introduced to the Sphero at this week’s P7 Coding club 🧑‍💻 We loved them and had them moving, spinning, changing colour and even singing songs! 🎶

We kicked off Scottish Digital Literacy Week with the first session of our P7 Digital/Coding Club today.

We used block coding through https://t.co/raW2t2yqzk to code our own version of the Flappy Bird game (some video examples in the comments!)
