An unbelievable moment on the House floor.
Rep. Lauren Boebert requests a moment of prayer for Charlie Kirk.
Democrats can be heard shouting "no!"
Then, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna shouts back "y'all caused this!"

The traveling hasnโt stopped! We went to Russia and Sweden. Tomten, the gift giver in Sweden, is left porridge instead of cookies. In Russia, Matryoshka dolls are color gifts and accent pieces used during the holidays. Did you know Christmas is celebrated on Jan. 7th in Russia?
This week students in Room 105 went to China to celebrate the Chinese New Year! We learned about the Legend of Nian and the symbolism of red and gold. Red is happiness and gold is good luck. We loved making our own New Year dragons!
Today in Room 105 we kicked off Holidays Around the World! We started in India! Diwali is celebrated for five days and those who celebrate decorate their homes with clay candles called diyas. After learning all about Diwali, we made our own version of diyas!

With Earth Day coming up, we learned about the importance of birds in our environment. They disperse seeds, are pollinators, and so much more! We also learned what we can do to help birds in return. Materials such as yarn, string, or hair can help them build their nests! #WErTJ
Another step forward in our sensory garden project thanks to @wjhsd Educational Foundation! We were able to build raised beds from recycled cedar untreated telephone poles. Thank you to Lonely Oaks Timber Sawmill for the wood! I canโt wait for our students to see. โบ๏ธ #WErTJ
