Around 9:52 p.m. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office F.A.T. (Fugitive Apprehension Team), along with deputies with the Desoto County Sheriff’s Department, worked together to locate and apprehend Moumen Mawlawi and his girlfriend Asya Gardner, who aided Mawlawi and Saulsberry in escaping a work detail this morning in Horn Lake, Mississippi. Mawlawi was located at a Hotel in the area of American Way and S Perkins in Memphis and taken into custody without incident. Asya Gardner was charged with Aiding Escape of Felons. Saulsberry is still at large as deputies work to discover his whereabouts. Great work by our FAT team and the (@DCSDsocialmedia ) Desoto County Sheriff’s Department.
