Special Ed teacher in Virginia. I love giving my students unique experiences. I am from Sussex County, NJ. I love traveling, spending time with friends & fam
New role…new wishlist. I always appreciate any support but never expect people to buy from my list. I use it throughout the year to get things as I am able. Some things truly are just wishes as well. Check it out!! https://t.co/DTgJSOupsx

@Teach_WA@LadyAndromeda Howdy! I’m Mya, commonly known as Mrs. Shep. I am an English teacher straight out of central Florida. This year, I’m moving from middle school to high school world! I have previously also tutored ESOL and writing, worked with DJJ, and second grade. https://t.co/4Hw1JEsFpc
@MrsD0827@OftheTwentys Go to MS and will have more kids than I usually have in el Ed. So on my list for B-days are 2 things—first, birthday crowns like we give little kids. The 5th graders teacher had the kids make crowns for a review and they LOVED it. Also birthday certificates with matching bookmark
@spartan_math@MrsD0827 I did token economy with my k-5 special education kids (general curriculum so essential resource room set up with some pull out and some push in). Didn’t charge for bills but they did earn bucks. For MS I’m going to simplify it a bit and use checks but it’ll be similar.
@MrsD0827 Moving to middle school this year. The 5th graders said Nee doughs, snacks, and candy. So I have lots of candy, squishy (I told them it wouldn’t be name brand), and other snacks on my list. I also added generic croc charms b/c I KNOW they will be a hit! https://t.co/DTgJSOupsx
@sigurborg1977@smontague5@MrsD0827 Haha I’m moving from el ed to middle school next year after 17 years and I asked my fifth graders and some MS teachers and candy (but not chocolate) were high on the list along with Nee Doughs (I told them they wouldn’t get the name brand haha)
@Teach_WA@ValerieSalter5 Just finished year 17 in el ed (K-2 gen ed 14 years and sped last 3). Next year will be going to MIDDLE SCHOOL 😳🥰 as a reading specialist. Personally in a health journey, reading more, and building better daily habits!! Thanks for the place to share!! 🥰 https://t.co/DTgJSOupsx
#teachers What is the biggest need on your list? Drop them below and RP.
My daughter's biggest need is a docucamera. She does a lot of annotating with her students, especially those who are ESL.

@SummerLover47@spartan_math My biggest needs are the adhesive things (wallpaper/chalkboard/dry erase board) and decor items to spruce up an old room in the school I will start at in Aug. https://t.co/DTgJSOupsx
