Can’t believe I’m half way through my last placement block already… had the best four weeks so far with so much experience! Now to celebrate half term & getting two firsts in my dissertation and presentation 🎉

Today’s trip to Blaenavon Ironworks and the @BigPitMuseum ! We learnt about the history as well as how to incorporate this into our teaching! ✏️

Also today, Tata Port Talbot shut off their last blast furnace. Hearing about the jobs still being done up until today was striking!

Today I turned 28 YEARS OLD. Which means 12 YEARS AGO I was on Educating Yorkshire. Over the years, teachers have helped me to push forward in all things I doubted myself I could achieve. Teachers gave me more than an education - they gave me a future. I will forever be grateful.
