During their visit, pupils had the opportunity to ask questions to Cllr @ChauhanZahid about his new role, the borough and loads more!

Yesterday Coral Class had their first lesson of orienteering in PE. Their first lesson was all about reading symbols. They had to look at a picture and use the symbols and key to collect the correct equipment. Here are some of the pictures they made π
This half term, Coral Class have loved their art lessons where they have created clay sculptures of canopic jars and have learnt how to sew. Whilst sewing, they have created Egyptian pyramids by doing a running stitch for the outlines and a cross stitch to show the bricks πͺ‘
Yesterday, Coral Class performed 2 poems in our KS2 assembly. After their performance, they were presented with an Adjudicatorβs Special Commendation Award which they received for their incredible performance of the same 2 poems at the Choral Speaking Festival π @Richmond_HT

On Monday, Year 3 had an insight into what life was like in Ancient Egyptian times. They had a fantastic time with @HistoricWksps exploring ancient artefacts, being a scribe, playing ancient Egyptian games and learning about the process of mummification π @Richmond_HT

Last week was science week @Richmond_HT and in Coral Class we completed a super STEM activity all about finger prints. We used our observation skills and noticed that all of our finger prints are different and have different patterns. How interesting it was! β¨

The CLT did a fantastic job of selling cakes and biscuits at our bake sale and all classes hosted a terrific talent show within their classrooms.
