I find it endlessly amusing when men expect a level of domestic labour from me that I don't even do for myself. If I haven't built my own life around cooking every single day, what exactly makes you think you'll be the exception?
Growing up hearing “Wikipedia isn't a valid source” and then entering a workplace where people say “just ask ChatGPT” is a surprisingly strange timeline
It’s really surprising that people are shocked that Gen Z don't enjoy work. Back in the day, work was to let you buy a home, travel and set up a few nice things for yourself. Would you feel the same way about work if it lead to none of the above ??
Katie Miller has a master's degree and a career. It appears that she has consistently worked since she was 20. She can open a bank account, own property, and have a credit card in her name. She has access to no-fault divorce and would be entitled to child support for her baby if she and Stephen Miller divorce. She has laws protecting her against physical abuse and rape by her spouse. She had access to birth control and abortion, meaning that having a baby was a choice.
She is very much not living the life that the "propaganda. . . convinced" women was oppressive. She is living the life that feminism made possible.
Of course, she knows this. She's just a liar.
this is why liz truss is the goat. she got in, killed the queen, bent the economy over and resigned in disgrace. no pissing about, job done in 2 months. that’s called efficiency.
europe spent 400 years using slave labour in colonies to build their wealth, rebranded this extraction model in the 20th century and somehow their citizens still believe their social conditions is a result of some superior intellect rather than inhuman violence
Seeing young men take up arms to defend and fight for these old politicians is deeply saddening. They risk and lose their lives serving people who couldn't care less about them, while the children of those same leaders live comfortably and safely far from the conflict.
