One of my students is very proudly wearing a shirt today that says “Future CEO.” When I asked her what she was going to be CEO of, she said “Well, I want to be a teacher, so I am going to be CEO of a classroom.”

There were many highlights from our 1st week back but one of my favorites was how excited my kids were to pick which of these @Crayola skin tone crayons matched them best to add to their crayon box. Hearing a kid say “WOAH! This looks like me!” while coloring made my ♥️ so happy

Today a box of 40 multicultural and anti-racist books showed up at my door from @consciouskidlib and @FirstBook 😍 I can’t wait to add these voices and faces to my classroom library.
