@alexcrk7 @Mr_Minchin I know! My kids all have the same black ones, white rubber soles with mostly a pink stripe up the back. It's like their uniform that no one told us about 🤣 it's not a hill I'm willing to die on though. I just can't imagine them to be comfortable as they ruin my knees!

@Mr_Minchin We have a tie, they can wear a polo or a shirt, p7 get a senior tie as well which they are gifted and expected to wear

@Mr_Minchin We do jumpers in school colours (with or without logo), dark on the bottom (trousers/skirts/culottes etc.) And dark shoes. Often kids are in trainers. I worry for their arches when they wear converse 🤣

Don't enjoy that comment @BBCBreakfast - people are doing their best for uniforms in a cost of living crisis. Wearing last year's if they still fit is 100% fine! Swap shops are great for those leaving the schools to let the it things be reused. Your report seems very negative.
