@mradamhill I can't swim as an adult and it really upsets me. We went swimming in Year 6 once a month for four months. Not great for girls reaching a certain age. I would've loved an intensive course.
English/EFL/SEN teachers, would anyone like to create a pen pal system with me and my schools in Japan? I teach in two elementary schools (up to age 12).
We have projectors and a screen that sticks on the board too. ;) We also have a fax machine in regular use in the staff room... gives me dial up flashbacks.
The deer in Nara are friendly. They eat senbei that you can buy for 200 yen. They will come to you and bow if they are hungry. You can find them around the parks and the temples. It was sunny today so most were in the shade.
Isn't it SO WEIRD that there's a massive positive correlation between
"Students who are generally badly behaved"
And
"Students who always need the toilet in lessons"
SO WEIRD
My Year 6s finished primary school today and it was so nice seeing them in their cute little outfits. They all did a speech about their goals in the future. The ceremony was so formal. Japan takes graduations very seriously.
