The new Tornado Watch just issued is a "Particularly Dangerous Situation" (PDS). These PDS Tornado Watches are *rare* and alarming. Concern is the line with an ETA 10-11 PM, and also the potential for supercells to develop and arrive *before* 10 PM. We're on it. / 605 PM

@FixingEducation Yes! I think it would be great for in school programs on Friday led by camps. For example, in our summer school, we had YMCA lead special programs for a couple hours a day. I’m sure SOMETHING educational could be arranged for a Friday.

A 4-day school week for students is perfect for ALL involved.

TEACHERS can use the 5th day to catch up with their insane workload!

STUDENTS can catch up & participate in ANY off-campus, extra curriculars they’re interested in without the wildness of a minute-to-minute schedule.

For the first time in my 3.5 years of teaching, I can say I have a full week of lessons and materials prepared. How did this happen? OUR DISTRICT GAVE US PLANNING TIME.
