Week has been long ,but I have gotten to see the resiliency of my kids with these crazy schedules! They handle it well! Also, I got to push myself with one day of subbing, two IEP meetings, first ever field day as a teacher, and attending my first ever pep rally!!
Got to view her classroom and received her school badge. Any tips for need supplies for 1st year teachers? I am a 7th grade intervention specialist for reading. #dreamishere
Is enjoying her capstone project. I am looking at transition resources in my new school district. Additionally, I am learning more from my staff before the school year starts! #masterslife
Has three more assignments to complete for her data driven instruction course. I am glad that I took this course. I feel as though I can explain testing data found in state tests, ETRs and standardized test better. Overall, this class will allow me t be a better IEP writer.
A wise soul once told me, “It is hard work that gets you where you are not luck.” Last week, I announced to my family that my hard work has lead me to be a Blue Lion! I will be co-teaching 7th grade ELA next year! @WCHCS
Post done, worksheet turned in, and paper is ready for final edits. The first five weeks of summer classes are over. Through time management, support systems, and coping skills, I am managing the stress and course load. #masterslife#ittakesavillage
Went to the library for the first time since covid. Who says listening to an audio book on data interpretation cannot be fun? #herotraining#masterslife
This year has been great. I have started Masters classes, subbed, and interviewed twice with different skills. I am definitely learning what it takes to teach!
Had her first day subbing for Franklin Woods Intermediate School. It has been confirmed once again that I love what I do. I have chosen the correct path.
Update on career goals. I am an official substitute teacher for South Western City Scoolw. If schools remain open this week, I can complete my first day as an official teacher not an intern! #officalherostatus
Has written her first ever case study. At first, I was discouraged. This was a new form of writing, and I was not confident that I had the grit to complete it. Then, I remembered that I completed my EDTPA and passed it in the same year. If I could do this, I could do anything.
This semester has been the ultimate push. I have been doing online classes which has required more collaboration than a normal semster. Additionally, I have had to research more and create my asignments rather than the fill-in the blank asignments from the past. #masterslife
