Today, Y6 were introduced to our new class reading scrapbook. Each week, 1 member of our class will take the scrapbook home to create their own book review. I started by sharing one of my favourite books - Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone! 📖 ✨ 🎨 #ReadingForPleasure

After learning that some Victorian children would have learnt embroidery at school, Year 6 were set the challenge to create their own bookmarks using binca. I think you’ll agree that they look fabulous!🪡 🧵 ✨

Year 6 have used their inference skills to produce some new front covers for our class text ‘Cogheart’ by @peterbunzl. They read the blurb carefully and came up with some great ideas on what the book may have in store for us!

Year 6 created their own personalised hoodies this week as we spent time getting to know more about each other. ✨

This week, Year 6 have produced some fabulous artwork on canvases. Their work was based on Herbert Mason’s famous photograph, St Paul’s Survives. They loved sharing their work in today’s art gallery! @MrsESimpson 💕 ✨ 🖼

Year 6 were inspired by @artjohnmayson to create their own chalk artwork of the Blitz. They’re looking forward to sharing them with other children at Thursday’s Art Gallery.
