We have little babies in our class 🐣🐤 they were laid and will be returning to live happy lives as pets on our lunchtime supervisor's family farm when they are fully grown. It's been a very valuable experience and children have loved learning to care of them. #spring #eyfs

We visited the theatre to see a pantomime today! For many of them, it was their first ever experience of the theatre! The children loved it and were excellently behaved! What a lovely day 🌟 #eyfs

The Christmas magic has begun in my class today... we received a magic bell from Santa, with a special ticket to board THE POLAR EXPRESS 🚂🌟 all the children and their parents came back to school tonight to watch clips of the film, have hot chocolate and meet Santa! 🌟🎄 #eyfs

Our lovely hibernation display 🍂🍁🐿 this was my favourite topic so far in EYFS as it was totally child initiated! The children found a sadly dead hedgehog on the field at playtime so we spent the last 4 weeks learning about them! #eyfs #childled #play

@DancingFlowers3 I love Reception! We play a lot but we also teach full class, small group work and targeted interventions all in a day. Our play times are also a great chance for children to further and apply their learning independently. So far finding the workload really manageable! ☺️

After yesterday's shoe disaster, today I had 5 children who decided to have a water fight outside! They all got soaked! The result was all 5 of them (and me!) in fits of giggles and them wearing rather eclectic spare clothes to go home in! 🙈😂 #waterplay #outdoors #fun #eyfs
