Mind you, Ekpoma has been under seige for a really long while now. The kidnapping and killings happening there has slowly been integrated into their everyday lifestyle, it’s not making news anymore.
I've built a functional UGC map of Nigeria that tracks bad infrastructures, roads, ghost projects to the ward level in Nigeria.
One map, one repo! So when they come and ask you for vote, you'll show them receipt of what they didn't do.
Testing! Let's go https://t.co/Grlc2H4MdV
Pls retweet Veronica Okomi's bank details. Also give if you can. Temisan would hate this but that's what he gets for dying on me.

Tinubu is taking high-risk financial bets just to run basic governance. To “get” the $5 billion upfront, we are pledging 133.3% collateral.
He is mortgaging the country.

“You have no light at the airport, and I have to fly back within the next 10 minutes. To the victims, there's nothing I can give you, whether it's money in millions, but console you and promise you that this experience will not repeat itself."
— Tinubu tells bereaved families in Jos.

@TheIgboWolf They are essentially trying to protect you because women generally have a lower tolerance for alcohol. Their logic is that if you get intoxicated, a man is there to take responsibility for your safety and ensure you don’t cause a scene. ⚠️
A housing apartheid is a situation where only the wealthy can afford to live with dignity while the poor are pushed out of the city they built.
And that is what the Lagos State government seems to be striving for. From demolishing homes to reclaiming lands, ordinary people are being erased in the name of development.
Lucy Li wanted to be a TikTok star. Oliver Karafa wanted to be rich. When a friend got in the way of their plans, they combined forces and pulled off a murder plot so preposterous that one of their lawyers used stupidity as a defence https://t.co/pgws4jF1EW
THIS IS WHY FANTA SWITCHED FROM AN ORANGE CAP TO A BLUE ONE 🔵
It's not random, it’s a sales strategy.
1. Contrast sells
Blue and orange are opposites on the color wheel, and opposites attract attention.
By replacing the orange cap with blue, Fanta made the bottle instantly more eye-catching on the shelf. That little switch breaks visual monotony and forces your eyes to stop scrolling (or walking) and notice it.
In marketing, the first rule of sales is: what stands out gets picked up.
2. Curiosity triggers sales
When something that’s been the same for years suddenly changes, people start talking.
Some call it fake, others say it tastes different, but what do they all end up doing?
Buying one to “check for themselves.”
That curiosity is intentional. It drives word of mouth, free publicity, and impulsive re-purchases - all without a single ad spend.
3. Psychological refresh
Consumers crave “new.” Even if the product hasn’t changed, a new look gives the illusion of improvement.
That’s why brands tweak packaging every few years to signal freshness, quality, and innovation.
So when Fanta dropped the blue cap, it subconsciously told buyers: “Hey, we’ve upgraded.”
Marketing is psychology.
Every color, every tweak, every detail is designed to make you look, talk, and buy.
