“You are going to get left behind if you don’t use AI.”
Leave me with my critical thinking skills, my ability to read and write long-form, and books without needing AI summaries.
This is awful. The last ever Denby Pottery going to the kiln. Why is there not uproar? Where’s the government in this?? We all have Denby in our homes, in family heirlooms, as our history and now it’s closing through lack of support, such a sad sad day. #SaveDenby@denbypottery
Average person eats six times more chicken than in 1961, @UN report finds @guardian
“UN report says global meat supply has risen fourfold in last 60 years and is expected to keep rising..
But with wealthy nations, the health and environmental case points toward reduction.”

Madrid witnessed something extraordinary today: Pope Leo XIV carrying our Eucharistic Lord through its streets on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. As thousands followed in prayer and adoration, the scene reflected the beauty of this ancient feast.
But Madrid was not alone. Across the world, Catholics gathered to carry Jesus in the Eucharist through their streets, publicly proclaiming their faith in His Real Presence.
Corpus Christi is more than a tradition—it is living faith made visible. Wherever the Eucharistic Lord was carried in procession today, in Madrid, throughout Spain, throughout the world, there beat the heart of the Church.
Charity admits no delay. Our responsibility before those in need makes every encounter with others a unique and unrepeatable moment of grace for love, not to be missed or postponed. The love of Christ impels us toward our brothers and sisters, and the charity and care with which we respond are the test of our faith. #ApostolicJourney #Spain
They told you the planet is dying… and you’re the problem.
Your food.
Your habits.
Your existence.
Meanwhile, behind closed doors, something else is growing.
AI data centres in the UK alone could pump out 123 million tonnes of carbon emissions — the equivalent of millions of human lives over a decade.
But where’s the outrage?
Instead, they blame cows… tax farmers… and squeeze the people who actually feed you.
While tech giants expand quietly… signing deals… building systems that never sleep… and never get questioned.
Different rules.
Different targets.
Same script.
So let me ask you…
Why are everyday people being punished…
while the biggest emitters keep getting rewarded?
Is this really about saving the planet…
or controlling who pays the price?
Drop your thoughts below — I want to hear what you think.
And if this made you stop and think for even a second… share it.
More people need to see this.
Sainsbury's boss eyes bumper £7.3m payday as shoppers reel from higher food prices.
Up from £5.4m last year – 200 times average employee pay.
Govts preach pay restraint to workers, silence on exec pay, shareholder returns.
Let workers vote on exec pay.

Yesterday we had JD Vance wading in on British politics.
Now we have Pete Hegseth using D-Day commemorations to score a political point.
A complete insult to the memory of our D-Day heroes.
Trump has just destroyed the US beef industry. No country in their right mind is going to import US beef.
After Trump cut funding for Screwworm monitoring programs, the dangerous flesh-eating parasite has been found in US cattle for the first time since 1966.
Silence can help us most to recognize the voice of God, since it fosters attention and recollection. Freed from the noise of a thousand voices, we come to recognize that some voices deceive our desires, others buy us without nourishing us, and still others speak out of self-interest. In silence, we understand that ideologies pass away, while truth remains. https://t.co/lbaMqHx1cJ
Crazy that this is getting barely any coverage. This year’s European Press Prize was just awarded to an investigative report by the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. It is entitled “What the Wounds Tell” and in it the journalists Maud Effting and Willem Feenstra document the cases of 114 children in Gaza under the age of 15 who were struck by a single bullet to the head or chest. Almost all of them died or were left severely disabled. They chose to document only the cases of boys and girls under the age of 15 (though often much younger: aged 3, 4 or 7) because these are children who can be immediately identified as such. “A single bullet in these parts of the body is a clear indication that these children were deliberately targeted“, the two journalists write.

We were given a planet that grows its own food, overflowing with trees, fruit, water, medicine, and sunlight, where life itself is abundant and generous. Yet we built systems of debt, competition, division, and war instead of learning to live in balance with it.
🚨 WOW! Erin Brockovich completely destroys the AI data center narrative. She confirms these massive facilities emit a non-stop, 24/7 deafening noise that is literally driving local residents crazy!
She exposes the total lack of environmental oversight. Pure corruption!
Over a million people lined the streets of Madrid and one of its main squares to catch a glimpse of Pope Leo as he made his way to an open-air Mass in what was expected to be the largest event during his week-long visit to Spain https://t.co/f176gaD8Oy
