Year 1 have had a fabulous morning celebrating #worldmathsday ! We have been measuring objects in the classroom, using scales to measure mass, challenging each other on TT rocks and having a dance off! #TTrocks#maths
Last week year 1 loved their maths based Easter hunt! The children had to find a hidden egg and answer the maths question in the egg in order to get a chocolate treat ๐ซ๐ชบ

Year 1 had a fabulous morning learning all about the Edwardian seaside. We jumped into bathing machines and put on our extraordinary swimming costumes, and we also strolled along the promenade with our parasols! Thank you to @PartakeEdu
In Year 1 we have been busy creating some beautiful cards for the church and inside, the children have written thank you messages for the church. ๐ฅโช๏ธ๐ We have been learning all about Pentecost and the birth of the church.
Year 1 have been writing post cards to year 5 all about their beach experience day. The boys and girls in Year 1 were so happy when they received a post card back! โ๏ธ๐๏ธ
Year 1 did such an amazing job at Sports Day today! We did a sprint race, an obstacle race, javelin, long jump and even a parentโs race! Well done to all that took part- including parents!!! ๐คช๐ ๐
