Tourists ~ #DontBuyATicket EVER! Here's why....
Amidst congested traffic, scorching heat, blaring horns, and thick exhaust fumes, Elephants walk in a line through the chaos.
Every morning, from Hatigon Village to Amber Fort in Jaipur, these Elephants travel nearly 3 kilometers only to begin a day of carrying tourists up the hill. By evening, they walk the same distance back.
A journey of at least 6 kilometers every day.
On hard and hot ground of the roads.
Under extreme conditions.
For tourists, the ride may feel exciting and an unforgettable view of a historic place.
But behind that experience is a life of exhaustion, routine, and silent suffering.
How many people have followed the full journey these Elephants endure before and after the ride?
Too often, we see only our experience and not the cost to another life.
True travel should never come at the expense of another being. The most meaningful tourism is responsible tourism guided by compassion, awareness, and respect.
If you love Elephants, please do not support Elephant riding or any form of exploitation.
Let Elephants be Elephants. ❤️

They save up an injured animal for when they have a hunt meet in the area and then use them as a sort of sick warm up hunt to get a pretty much guaranteed kill in the bag before they go on to target a healthy deer for a more challenging chase. https://t.co/VhEYXdkFEI
Legislation needs to go further to prevent this exemption being exploited by stag hunters. The government hunting consultation ends soon on the 18th of June. If you haven’t yet completed it, please use the HSA guide to aid you and help secure a proper ban. https://t.co/24wIrqnhQ7
Par pitié, quand vous partez en vacances, ne faites jamais les trucs touristiques avec les chevaux, les dromadaires ou d’autres animaux qui sont certainement maltraités 🙏🏼🙏🏼
We have just days now to ensure the Govt is given all they need in the public consultation to ensure fox hunting is ended for good. No more loopholes or exemptions.
"Foxes killed my chickens" isn't an argument against foxes. It's an argument against your coop. A fox being a fox isn't a moral failing. A faulty coop is the problem.
A holidaymaker has been accused of grabbing a seagull out of the air then punching it to death after it snatched his pasty.
Outraged locals posted pictures of the man claiming he killed the innocent seagull in St Ives, Cornwall yesterday in revenge for trying to steal his savoury treat, as police urged anybody with CCTV footage to come forward.
Rosie Reynolds was working at a boat tour stall when the man attacked the bird right in front of her.
She said: 'He was walking with his wife and child and the gull just swooped down and stole his pasty.
'He just grabbed it and had its head in his hand and punched it hard in the chest. It was sort of held in his arm so it couldn't escape.
'After three or four punches the bird went limp then he threw it to the ground where it just lay there, it was still alive but its chest cavity was caved in and I think it just went off to die.
'I went over and berated him as did some other people, I said "you can't do that, its illegal" and his wife said the same, I think she was shocked, I asked if he'd do the same to a child who stole an ice cream but he just called me a cow and told me to f*** off.
I'm just so shocked, tourists sometimes kick out at the seagulls but this is the worst I've ever seen.
'I recognised his picture straight away on Facebook, I know several people have reported him to police and I hope they can deal with him properly.'
A takeaway owner who didn’t want to be named served the man just before he attacked the gull said it actually snatched a fish burger.
He said: 'I just remember the guy was really rude, his wife seemed lovely but he was just demanding and said he needed to drive back to Yorkshire as soon as he could.'
Another witness Pauly Ford posted on Facebook: 'Just witnessed a 'man' grab a seagull that had knocked the pasty out of his hand and punched the bird twice really, really hard. This was at the harbour.
'The bird wasn't able to fly away and a lady at the sea island boat trips picked it up to look after, sadly the bird had a big hole in its chest so will likely not survive.
'Not sure what to do about this, we have a picture of the guy after killing a seagull because he's an idiot is there anything we can do. Surely the police will want to know.'

This isn't an isolated incident.
It will only end when everyone STOPS using horses as transportation 😡
Quantock Staghounds screaming and cracking whips as they ride at a stag to prevent him escaping onto National Trust land. This stag had just been through a 3.5 hour ordeal, chased relentlessly in blazing sunshine, this was his 2nd attempt to get past the riders back to his herd.
Please people give us small organisations the support that we deserve. We all save lives in the most difficult of circumstances with little funds or resources, and yet everyone flocks to large and famous accounts. These past months we have saved over 2000 dogs from being culled
