@RyonWLeyshon@TheWritingRevol A great thread! I’ve just started using the @TheWritingRevol strategies myself and this has been so helpful. Thank you! Can I be cheeky and ask if you could share some of the resources you’ve made?
@MrTs_NQTs Any suggestions for CPD/courses that help us become more effective teachers of writing (in KS2)? Having made the transition from secondary to primary, I’m finding teaching writing quite tricky. Retweets much appreciated!😊@MrTs_NQTs@MissKhan__@_MissieBee
@missgeog92 Apologies in advance for the many q’s! Do books and desks have matching numbers? If seating plan changes, do you change the number on books? Are booked passed down to the front of the class and collected in the correct order? You’re tweets are always super helpful! Thank you!

Our lead came up with the FABULOUS idea of ‘the masked reader’ for world book day. Each teacher will record themselves reading the blurb of a book with a filter. A montage is created and the children have to guess who the masked reader is! I think I’m more excited than the kids🤣
@StudyMaths That’s fab! Thank u so much. Do you happen to know of any online resources for reading scales? So I’m after something that shows the small and big divisions - like a ruler with an adjustable scale.
@mrshawthorne7 I went to sleep thinking about factions and woke up thinking about fractions! Looking at @NCETM PD materials (which are fantastic btw) just before bed was clearly NOT a good idea! Finding it really hard to switch off during lockdown.
